Dr. Thom is an International Fellow of Canyon Institute of Advanced Studies, Phoenix, USA. He has a sustained interest in the ethical dimensions of comparative worldviews, and his ideas have been published in numerous publications including the Los Angeles Times, Christianity Today, Far Eastern Economic Review, and the Journal of AC Leadership. He is also a contributor to Buddhism and the Contemporary World (2007), and co-author with Sunil Sardar of PHULE in His Own Words (2007).

Since 1985 Dr. Thom has led Global Spectrum—the urban group. He moved to Asia in 2001 as Director of University Institute of Global Spectrum. Global Spectrum is a leadership network given to watering the future™. University Institute is an Asia-based learning group with clients throughout South and East Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Thom Wolf received the B.A. (sociology) Baylor University, M.A.(cross-cultural studies) Fuller Graduate School, D.Lit. (humanities) Grand Canyon University, Ph.D. studies (global leadership) Andrews University.
